Bike Friday Rainbow Rides to welcome Pride : We’re ‘devoted’ to cycling for all

Manchester Friends of the Earth are inviting people to join one of the Bike Friday cycle rides on Friday 28th August dressed in one (or more) of the rainbow colours to welcome the Pride Festival to Manchester and show that we are ‘devoted’ to cycling for all. [1]

Graeme Sherriff, from Manchester Friends of the Earth’s Love Your Bike campaign said: “Love Your Bike is devoted to enabling more people to cycle safely and comfortably in Greater Manchester. Join us on a Bike Friday ride and share the devotion!”

Bike Friday provides a range of cycle rides into the City Centre from various locations into Manchester from various starting places around Greater Manchester and also works with companies and local authorities in Greater Manchester to promote cycling, improve cycle facilities and to encourage more people to continue cycling to school, work and for leisure all year round. We want people to celebrate the fact that Manchester is proud of its LGBT history and shares in its future. We want people to shout about who or what they are ‘Devoted to…’ https://bigweekend.manchesterpride.com/take-part/parade/parade-theme-devotion
