Protect our environment after Brexit

We’ve defended bees from harmful pesticides, stood up for our right to healthy air and kept tonnes of fossil fuels in the ground.

Currently the EU helps us challenge activities that damage the environment and holds our government to account.

But after Brexit this could stop. All our hard work could be at risk.

The government originally promised us a strong, independent environmental watchdog to replace EU protections after we leave the EU [1]. But right now, it’s not delivering.

The House of Lords has already voted to hold the government to its original promise. Now we have less than a week to make sure our MPs lock these promises in.

We need to uphold our environmental protections after Brexit.
