Are you a business? Information on how to go green and corporate volunteering ideas
We get a lot of requests from companies asking for ideas on how they can make their businesses more eco-friendly. And so we have put together a list of green corporate volunteering opportunities and ways that small and medium sized businesses can work towards a sustainable working model.
If you have any other ideas we could add to our list please get in touch, office[at]manchesterfoe.org.uk
Volunteering

Fareshare helping distribute food across Greater Manchester to those in need.
Groundwork Greater Manchester – Our team supports individuals to fulfil their potential, communities to become stronger, and together, we make spaces greener and more resilient to the effects of climate change.
Hulme Community Garden Centre – support with growing, gardening, and customer service.
Trafford Ecology Park – Your next corporate volunteering event could help to reverse some of these negative impacts; restoring natural beauty and improving biodiversity at Trafford Ecology Park and creating a better environment for workers in Trafford Park.
Woodland Trust / The Northern Forest – lots of opportunities to take part in one of the Woodland Trust events right across the Northern Forest area, such as at Smithills Estate in Bolton.
