We continue to pursue an unsustainable energy supply based mainly on fossil fuels. When burnt, fossil fuels produce carbon dioxide which is instrumental in causing global climate change. By switching to greener fuels and using energy more efficiently, we can all help prevent the increase in severe weather conditions that is likely to result from climate change.
