Bonjour Angers (Breeze Ride)

Angers is a city in Western France about 300 km southwest of Paris. It is chef-lieu of the Marine et Loire department and was, before the French Revolution, the capital of the province of Anjou. The commune of Angers, without the metro area is the the third mors populous in northwestern France. Angers enjoys a rich cultural life, made possible by its universities and museums and has been twined with Wigan since 1988.

The Third Stage of the Tour de France will be finished in Angers on 4 July so why not join a Breeze Wigan ride to Wigan Town Centre watch the end of the third stage and celebrate with like minded cyclists enjoying some French cuisine. This ride is mostly traffic free on cycle paths and canal towpath with a short section on roads towards the rest stop in Wigan Town Centre.

Places are limited so please book online.
