Breezing to the boundary (Breeze Ride)

Come and join Breeze Wigan on a delightful ride almost traffic free 25 miles to the Boundary. Taking in the towpath of the Leeds Liverpool Canal, a few quiet roads and the brand new cycle path along the guided busway to take you to the edge of Wigan borough. This route is mainly flat throughout and is suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes.

At the mid point we will be stopping for lunch and a drink so please bring money with you. As always we recommend a helmet and if you have an inner tube and a bike lock please bring them along (don’t let this put you off if you don’t). We ride to a social pace with having breath to chat and have a giggle along the way – no one is ever left behind we ALWAYS ride to the slowest pace making the experience pleasurable. Due to the distance children can attend if they are able to ride for 53 miles (if you are unsure why not try one of the shorter rides first), however, all children MUST wear a helmet or will not be allowed to take part. Make sure you book a place as ride leaders can only take 8 participants each on a ride.

Don’t forget to find and like us on and follow us on twitter and Instagram @breezewigan Any questions feel free to contact the Breeze Wigan Champs by email We look forward to riding with you soon

Places are limited so please book online.
