Greater Manchester Green Summit: Bury’s Love Your Environment – Listening Workshop

event on
14 February
2018

Why not come and have your say on the future of the environment in Bury and Greater Manchester.  Andy Burnham is holding a Green Summit in Manchester on 21 March 2018 and will help establish a new bold target to become a zero carbon city and draw up an Environment Charter.

Listening Events are being held across Greater Manchester in the run-up to the Green Summit to bring people across Greater Manchester together to discuss, debate and share ideas about what they want from a green, carbon neutral city and what they think needs to happen to achieve this. This workshop will feature a presentation and group discussions.

Bury are holding a Listening Event on Wednesday 14th February 2018 at 6.00 – 7.30pm in the Peel Room, Bury Town Hall. This workshop will feature a presentation and group discussions. To attend please make sure you register via Eventbrite.

You can also get involved by completing the online survey https://pollev.com/GreenSummit  and have your say on social media to ensure that a broad range of residents and community groups have a voice. Tweet @GMLowcarbonhub  #GMGreenCity

Outcomes from the listening events and the online survey will help to develop the Environment Charter and shape policy and action in Greater Manchester, which in turn will inform other key city strategies.
