Climathon Manchester

Do you have the passion and ability to solve some of the biggest climate challenges facing the world today?  If so, we need you!

Join us for Climathon – one of the world’s biggest climate change hackathons – and help to solve some of Manchester’s most pressing climate challenges. On the day, we’ll be challenging you to develop solutions to help reduce Manchester’s risk of flooding and heat stress through innovative green infrastructure ideas

On the day you will:

– Work in teams to understand the climate risks and how to develop practical measures to address them.
– Present your ideas to an expert judging panel.
– Meet and network with like-minded innovators, entrepreneurs, students and professionals.
– Become part of a global community working together to take action on climate change.

Climathon will be held at HOME on 27th October from 9am-5pm.
Lunch will be provided as well as celebratory drinks to finish.

The winning team will have the opportunity to work with Manchester Climate Change Agency and partners to take their idea forward for funding.

We’re looking for teams of 3-6, but if you have more or fewer people get in touch and
we’ll see what we can do.

Climathon brings together the climate challenges faced by the world’s cities and the people who have the ability and the passion to solve them.
