Dark Breeze

Winter is coming…but that doesn’t stop us Breezing. These evening rides will take place all the way through the winter so you can keep your legs turning.

The ride takes place on the Fallowfield Loop, which is almost completely flat and traffic free. It is unlit so you MUST have lights that are good enough for you to see where you are going as well as be seen by others. If your lights are not good enough you will not be able to ride, for the safety of others. You must also have a bike that is in good working order and carry the equipment and tools to enable you (with help if you need it) to fix a puncture; carrying a spare inner tube is advisable.
It will be cold once the sun goes down so you should make sure you are wearing clothes that will keep you warm. Layers are good as you will warm up as we ride and cool down when we stop.

Sometimes we will stop for a warm drink but other times we may just stop on the Loop for our own drink (and sometimes I may bring a treat!).

Dark riding is fun – when you can’t see where you are it always feels like you are riding faster. Give it a go!

Places are limited so please book online.
