Does economic growth in the north depend on transport? – Free evening seminar (Guardian)
Join us in Manchester for a free evening seminar on Tuesday 28 June, as we discuss whether better transport infrastructure will help the north become an economic powerhouse. Our expert panel and an audience of senior professionals and experts will come together to debate the effect of major transport projects, such as HS2, in helping boost economic growth and what more will be needed to boost education, workforce skills and wider infrastructure.
After the event you’ll have a chance to network with your peers over drinks and canapés.
Panellists already confirmed:
Sean Anstee, leader of Trafford Council
Professor Nuno Gil, professor of new infrastructure development, Manchester Business School
Sir Richard Leese, leader of Manchester city council
