EcoHome Lab: A LoraWAN sensor network?

Julian Tait from ThingsManchester, the crowdsourced IoT network for Manchester, will be talking to us about the potential for LoraWAN as a backplane for your sensor network. We’ll be having a look at what areas of Manchester are covered, having a look at some hardware and seeing how we might interface with it.

We’ve adopted a new format, so the timetable for the evening is as follows:

5.30pm  – OpenEnergyMonitor drop-in with Trystan Lea one of the projects core developers. Temperature sensor not reporting, dashboard showing unusual results? Bring it down and we’ll see what we can do.

6.30-7pm – Julian from ThingsManchester talks us through the potential of LoraWan

[masked]pm – Q&A, discussion and hands-on with some LoraWAN hardware

7.30-8pm – Open session – bring your latest project to show and tell.

8pm – Pub!
