Greater Manchester Green Summit: Bolton Listening Event
In March 2018, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, is holding a Green Summit for Greater Manchester to inform a new environmental vision for the city region and to draw up an Environment Charter.
Listening Events are being held in Bolton and across Greater Manchester in the run-up to the Summit. These events will bring people together to share and discuss ideas about what they want from a green, carbon neutral city and what they think needs to happen to achieve this.
Bolton’s Listening Event will be on Tuesday 13th February 2018, 5pm-7pm, in the Lancaster Suite, The Albert Halls, Bolton Town Hall, and we want you to be there.
Places at Bolton’s Listening Event are limited. To attend, please make sure you register here.
You can also be involved by completing the online survey at https://pollev.com/GreenSummit. Have your say on social media to ensure that a broad range of residents and community groups have a voice. Tweet @GMLowcarbonhub #GMGreenCity.
Your views from the listening events and the online survey will help to develop the Environment Charter, and shape policy and action in Greater Manchester, which in turn will inform other key city strategies.
