This is a hilly route on busy roads.

We’ll leave the car park and travel through the main streets of leigh towards Atherton. We’ll travel up Newbrook Road to join the A6 and on towards Horwich. We’ll have a break for refreshments at the Middlebrook Retail Centre before heading back home.

Please bring a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and dress to suit the weather. It may starti to go dark on our return so please ensure you have good lights on your bike, and high viz is also a good idea.
