Learn to Ride (Oldham) Morning

Learn to Ride course is a bike riding starter for beginners – you’ll learn the basics of getting on a bike and controlling it, and gain the confidence to ride on a road on your own. The course takes place with a qualified instructor in a safe, off-road environment and lasts around two hours. The course will cover;

  • Getting on your bike, balancing and getting off again
  • Starting and stopping
  • Using the bike’s gears
  • How to look ,signal and turn
  • Steering your bike and stopping quickly if you need to
  • Pre ride bike checks

Bikes and helmets will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Please note that these courses are only open to adults (16+).
