Learn to Ride course is a bike riding starter for beginners – you’ll learn the basics of getting on a bike and controlling it, and gain the confidence to ride on your own. You are welcome to attend more than one session, at any venue across Greater Manchester.

The course takes place with a qualified instructor in a safe, off-road environment and lasts around two hours. The course will cover;

  • Things you should check before each ride

  • Starting and stopping
  • Steering your bike and stopping quickly if you need to

Bikes and helmets will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Please note that these courses are only open to adults (16+).

Meet at the Basketball Court & Promenade area of the park.  Entrance via Park Street off Chorley New Road.l

Places are limited so please book online.
