Octopus Alchemy Fermenting Workshop

Tired of bland, same same, mediocre and uninspiring eats? Stuck in a rut with your cooking and nutrition? Have belly troubles, autoimmune concerns or just feeling a bit under the weather? This event is for you: come and learn how to put some sparkle back into your cuisine by reviving some archaic knowledge and skills around food preparation.

On Saturday 17th October, The Roar Drinks Company and The Real Junk Food Project Manchester will be hosting Darren Ollerton from ‘Octopus Alchemy’ – a project that works with communities through health education, political nutrition and traditional foods. Octopus Alchemy is doing a short tour of a few food-waste projects in the north to talk about the political significance and health benefits of turning waste food into superfood via fermentation – so don’t miss this chance to be inspired, empowered and radicalized around your health and wellbeing.

Tickets are £10 and can be purchased in advance from Eventbrite. Places are limited, but if we have any left you can also pay on the door – http://octopusalchemymanchester.eventbrite.co.uk/
