Pilgrimage for Gaia (St Margaret’s Church Whalley Range)

On Sundays 5 and 12 March we welcome Helena Kettleborough and Phil Barton to our 10.30am worship. Through film, art, poetry and song they will lead us on a Pilgrimage for Gaia, a journey exploring our ways of seeing the world and our responses to climate change and species loss.

Pilgrimage for Gaia

In addition to the Sunday worship Helena and Phil invite us to join them at St Margaret’s Church on Thursdays 23 February and 2 March at 19.00 to 20.30 where together we will create an art installation which invites us to look at the ways in which issues of care for the earth are presented in contemporary society.

On Sunday 26 February (the Sunday before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday) our 10.30 worship will explore ways of seeing Lent and will also reflect upon how the Lenten season can inspire and encourage us to look at our lives and our world in new ways.

Through film, art, poetry and song Helena Kettleborough and Phil Barton will lead us on a Pilgrimage for Gaia, a journey exploring our ways of seeing the world and our responses to climate change and species loss. Friends of the Earth supporters are most welcome to join us for what is anticipated to be a series of thought-provoking and inspiring events.
