The training outlines your rights under the planning system, and how you can successfully influence planning decisions to win your campaign.

The Power Up training, which is led by experienced Senior Planner Rebecca Murray, will cover the following:

• An overview of the planning system, planning reforms and your rights to participate in the system

• What is the role and purpose of planning policy eg Local Plans? Why are they important and how to get involved in the process of policy making and to influence?

• Planning applications: how you can support or object to an application; campaigning top tips

• What are Nationally Strategic Infrastructure Projects? How do they differ and how to get involved and influence their decision?

It will take place over 4 sessions, if you are unable to attend any of the weeks we will be able to share a recording of the event with you.
