FRACKING IS COMING TO CHESHIRE

IGas has applied for Planning Permission to flow test (flare) their well in Ellesmere Port, as the next stage to production.
IGas has announced a 10 well site in Ince Marshes.

BGS has announced a major research project in Ince Marshes with up to 80 boreholes.
INEOS has a major build-up of fracking equipment in Runcorn.
INEOS has raised a high court injunction against “anyone anywhere, who may get in the way of their shale gas fracking operations”.

In their 2017 manifesto, the Conservatives announced their intention to waive Planning Legislation for the fracking industry. This industry threatens your environment, and your democracy.
