Stockport Community Cycling Club – Saturday rides – Chester Zoo

Saturday rides provide easy rides of a little longer distance than the Wednesday evenings – suitable for members wishing to progress or for those who cannot make mid-week rides.   Covering distances usually between 15 and 20 miles, many will use traffic free paths and canals etc.  Most rides are suitable for mountain bikes, hybrids and road bikes with suitable tyres.  Members with pure road bikes with “skinny” tyres may find some of the rides a little difficult.

27th June  – Chester Zoo  –  Meet at Morrisons, Cheadle at 9.15am to drive to Chester or Chester Services on M56 at 10am.  One of our popular rides.  Out along a canal and well surfaced railway returning along the river, more railway then a trip through the middle of the Zoo.  A flat 22 mile ride. Coffee at Queensferry.  Leaders Jim and Graham.

What Does it Cost?  There is a ride fee of £1 per ride for all members and a one off £2 joining fee for new members.
