Stockport Community Cycling Club Sunday ride – Ferry ‘cross the Mersey

Sunday rides will be mainly on road on quiet lanes .  The rides will alternate between a distance of about 30 miles and longer rides of 50 miles. There will be a lunch stop, probably pub lunch, wherever possible. Riding will be at the usual club pace and we hope this will offer an opportunity to go a bit further.

Please note the longer rides may sometimes be shorter than 50 miles but hillier than normal rides.  Anyone doing these rides should either have done previous 30 mile rides or be experienced in longer rides.

Sunday 5th June – Ferry ‘cross the Mersey  – Meet at Morrisons, Cheadle Heath at 0830 or the car park at Otterspool, Liverpool at 0930.  Our annual ride with a difference.  Ride on traffic free path to Liverpool then cross on the Mersey Ferry (charge) to the Wirral. Then we have a 25 mile , again mainly traffic free ride round the Wirral with lunch at Hoylake before returning on the Ferry.  Lateish return home.  Leaders Jim and Andy Pennell
