Survivors’ Stories – Testimony from Hiroshima

On Saturday 1st April at the People’s History Museum two survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki will be speaking about their experiences. A rare opportunity to hear moving, first-hand testimony of the effects of the atomic bombings of Japan.

Layout 1

This public meeting will hear the experiences of Reiko Yamada from Hiroshima. Reiko was a young girl at the time of the bombings. Now in her eighties, she and other Hibakusha (the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki) are travelling the world to share their stories and spread a message of peace.

She will be accompanied by Midori Yamada, a second generation Hibakusha.

Please join them.  Book your place via the Eventbrite link.

NB. This is one of two public meetings with Hibakusha at the People’s History Museum that weekend. The Friday meeting is now sold out. So this – the Saturday meeting – is the only opportunity to hear from our guests. Thanks.
