Tree planting at City Forest Park (City of Trees)
Join City of Trees, Greenwood Twiggs and the Forestry Commission to plant trees at City Forest Park.
Hot drinks, gloves & tools will be provided. No experience is necessary. Drop in for an hour or stay all day!
The session will run 10am till 2pm. Parking is available at the bottom of Buckley Lane, which is accessible via Bury New Road in Prestwich, please see below aerial for further info.
Staff will be at the parking area on Buckley Lane at 10am to lead volunteers to the working area, however if you arrive after that time there will also be signs to follow which will lead you to the site. Directions from the parking area to the coppice woodland site at Waterdale can also be found below.
Please note that unfortunately there are no toilets on site.
