Turnpike (Ride Social)

Thanks to Wai for suggesting this one and her route. We’ll set off from the Velodrome and head up through Oldham, Shaw, Littleborough, and then circle round near Rishworth and stop off at the Turnpike on Booth Wood Reservoir. We’ll then make our way back.

There are two main climbs, but nothing really too taxing – fairly gradual.

Please be at the velodrome for 09:15 with a view to leave by 09:30. Don’t forget to bring suitable clothing/food/drink/cash etc.

Distance:- 45.5 miles
Elevation:- 3702ft
Pace: C (Average 12-14mph)

Please be realistic about your ability and consider the implications on your fellow riders if you cannot maintain the ride place.

Places are unlimited but please register online.
