Go Green Week is less than a month away – so time to start planning!
From 13-19 February, students across the country will be holding events that raise awareness and take action towards the struggle for climate justice, and a decolonised, decarbonised economy.
As we begin 2017, even insufficient climate deals like the Paris Agreement are on shaky ground. The stakes have never been higher; it’s time to take serious action on climate change.
Most importantly, we need to act in solidarity with the struggles of those who are on the front line of climate change – those whose lives and livelihoods are sacrificed so we can continue to burn fossil fuels. This Go Green Week, we want to send a strong message that these communities are our red lines, and red lines are not for crossing.
