Manchester City Centre Residents’ Annual Climate Summit 2021
In 2019, Manchester City Council declared a climate emergency. In March 2020, we held our first City Centre residents Climate Change Summit. Due to COVID restrictions we were unable to hold a summit in 2020.
If you are a Deansgate or Piccadilly Ward resident the Ward Councillors and Manchester City Council would like to invite you to come together on Thursday 4 November 2021.
This year we will be joined by the Tyndall Centre who will be presenting on city centre carbon emissions.
Have your say, hear what’s happening and understand how you can get involved and feel more positive about the impact your actions will have. Light refreshments will be provided.
In the meantime, do you want to take action on climate change, but not sure where to start?
The #InOurNature programme is a programme which is funded by the lottery will engage with Manchester residents over the next year. It is supported by MCC, Manchester Climate Change Agency, Tyndall Centre, Hubbub, and Amity. Visit In Our Nature for more information.
There is a questionnaire for all Manchester residents – tell us about your experience of reducing carbon emissions and how others can help you do more. CLICK HERE to take part.
The website also offers hints and tips covering: home, money, travel, stuff, food, fashion and nature. CLICK HERE to see what you can do.
Visit LATEST NEWS to be kept up date on whats happening.
**Please note this Climate Summit is open to residents who live in the Deansgate and Piccadilly Wards. Each Ward will be hosting their own specific Climate Summit **
