Manchester Friends of the Earth  has criticised planning decisions made by Stockport Council, accusing council bosses of making inconsistent decisions based on the bank balance of the applicant rather than the best interests of the local community.
On Friday 9th June, a public meeting will be held at Manchester Town Hall to enable members of the public to learn more about how businesses can be made accountable for their social and environmental impacts.
