On Friday 29th November, Love Your Bike and Greater Manchester Cycling Campaign (GMCC) are inviting people to join one of the Bike Friday m’stache cycle rides and help support Movember – the men’s health promotion campaign.
Love your Bike supporters are invited to take a spin (or three!) around Manchester on a Brompton fold-up bike for only £1.
Earlier this year, the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group (APPCG) took evidence from a range of cycling advocacy orgnisations, academics, transport planners and government departments to answer the question, “how can we get Britain cycling?”. Take the email action!
Love Your Bike urges people to support Greater Manchester’s Cycling City Ambition Grant bid. We believe a great city has to be a safe city for people who cycle.
We start at Heaton Chapel railway station, departing at 7.45am and arrive in Manchester City Centre around 8.15am The route leaders for this route are Peter Green, pagreen378[at]btinternet.com or on 07891 799816 and Ian Barker, barker.wendy[at]googlemail.com and phone 07923512409
A response to the consultation on the Greater Manchester Police and Crime Plan was submitted by Love Your Bike in February 2013. [gview file=”https://dl.dropbox.com/s/8x9v91485wq8qoo/GMPCC%20consultation%20-%20submission%20from%20Love%20Your%20Bike%2028th%20February%202013.pdf” save=”1″]
