After some delay, the Government published it’s Waste Policy for England mid-June.
Friends of the Earth have published their response with the title ‘Zero waste or zero ambition’ – praising the positives:
- the end of trying to force council’s to return to weekly collections
- increased support for anaerobic digestion
and criticising the negatives:
- much of the content is vague and unambitious
The response is in written and video format on their website.
Have your say on the Policy – tell David Cameron what you think.
