(STOP PRESS: Interim results available)

In the run up to the local elections in Greater Manchester, we’re asking candidates about their policies on climate change, food, waste and sustainable transport. The results will be made available on this website, so that voters can see which candidates best represent their concerns on important environmental issues.

Manchester Friends of the Earth campaigns on a wide range of issues relating to sustainabilty and social justice including climate change, corporate responsibility, real food, trade justice, sustainable transport, aviation and waste & recycling. We believe that voters in Greater Manchester should have information on the policies of local election candidates on these issues.
