Win £100 in the annual Friends of the Earth Christmas photo competition

11th October 2012

Are you a keen photographer? Or a lucky snapper? Do you fancy having your photo seen by thousands of people all over the world? Here’s a fantastic opportunity. Our Christmas ecards competition is now open.

Over 50,000 Friends of the Earth ecards are sent during the Christmas season each year – and your photo could be one of them.

The theme of the competition is Cold Snap – and entries can feature animals, landscapes or people.

While we’re looking for wintery images, cold snaps can be heartwarming – and your entries should be something you might send to friends and family at Christmas.

Last year’s winner was Hayley Muir with her beautiful donkey in the snow.

The top 12 photos, chosen by Friends of the Earth’s design team, will become our Christmas ecard selection. It will then be down to the public to choose the winner who will receive £100.

Competition opens:  27 September 2012.
Closing date:  midnight, 31 October 2012.

To enter, simply email your photo to coldsnap@foe.co.uk along with your name and telephone number.  But remember to read our full terms and conditions below before sending in your entry.
