The ‘taste before beauty’ campaign aims to highlight the avoidable food waste that is created when supermarkets reject large amounts of food because it is not cosmetically perfect.

In recent news… big supermarkets ‘relax’ high cosmetic standards

Due to extreme weather conditions this year UK farmers have suffered one of the worst harvests in recent years but this has not been all bad news for UK farmers as most of the big superkermartes have announced a reversal of policy and have started stocking uncosmetically perfect fruit and vegetables, which means farmers can now sell more of their harvests yields.
