FREE Love Food Hate Waste Cooking Sessions Across Greater Manchester!
Cracking Good Food are delighted to announce that we are collaborating again with Recycle for Greater Manchester to deliver the programme of FREE hands-on cooking sessions for their 2013-14 Love Food Hate Waste campaign.
Food waste is a big problem for both our pockets and environment. The average family of four can save up to £680 per year by just changing how they shop, store and cook food. Although the amount of food waste in the UK is going down, we still throw away around 7 million tonnes of food and drink every year, which would roughly fill the Etihad Football Stadium to the top!
We’re running 24 cooking sessions between now and the end of March next year, across all boroughs of Greater Manchestert. All the sessions are FREE, with all food & equipment provided, all we ask is for you to turn up with your apron!
You can either book online by clicking here to get redirected to our booking site, or you can email tracey@crackinggoodfood.
For the first round of sessions in each area, you’ll be rustling up a tasty Autumnal recipe. These sessions are suitable for vegetarians and we can generally accommodate most dietary requirements – please contact us before booking with any queries.
Visit the Love Food Hate Waste to find out more about the campaign and to look at their delicious range of straightforward recipes. Keep looking down, to see the dates of these fantastic FREE cooking sessions!
With Cracking Good Food and Love Food Hate Waste, there really is such a thing as a free lunch -or dinner. We look forward to cooking with as many of you as we can fit in, soon!
