National Vegetarian Week (Vegetarian Society funding)
The Vegetarian Society is making grants of up to £2,000 for activities or events to celebrate National Vegetarian Week. The Week runs from 15-21 May this year, and activities that take place in that period or the two weeks before are eligible for funding. Activities and events must promote National Vegetarian Week, and must be exclusively vegetarian or vegan – events serving non-vegetarian food will not be funded.
There are two levels of grant – small grants (up to £200) and large grants (£200 – £2,000). Applications can be made by not for profit organisations in the UK (e.g. community groups, schools, housing associations, youth clubs, Cubs, Brownies, Scouts or Guides); Informal groups of friends, parents or students; Vegetarian groups, local network groups and student vegetarian and vegan societies (whether they are formally part of our network or not).
• Large Grants – 22 January 2017 and 26 February 2017
• Small Grants – 26 February 2017 and 30 April 2017
