Over 18,000 people have emailed Homebase and Wyevale telling them that you want their ‘pollinator-friendly’ plants to be free from bee-harming pesticides.
But so far they haven’t replied to you, and haven’t committed to taking action. That’s tens of thousands of emails sat in their inboxes left unanswered.
We can’t let them get away with this silence. It’s time they followed in the footsteps of B&Q and banned these pesticides from their garden plants to help our precious pollinators.
By taking our demands to social media we can make sure Homebase and Wyevale aren’t being let off the hook. It’ll be a lot harder to ignore our call to stop selling bee-harming plants if they’re in the public spotlight.
They need to respond to our concerns and mounting scientific evidence that bee-harming neonicotinoids are dangerous to bees.
Together we can get Homebase and Wyevale to ban bee-harming pesticides from their garden plants so we can help reverse bee decline for good.
