Stop the government forcing fracking on communities

18th May 2018

The government is planning to drastically rewrite planning rules to make it as easy for fracking companies to drill as putting up a garden shed.

Local people and local councils would no longer have a say. Fracking companies could start drilling across huge parts of the country without any planning applications.

I urge you to ensure that local councils retain their right to make planning decisions on fracking, and to not allow fracking companies to drill without planning permission.
