Help Manchester Friends of the Earth * Recycle * Reuse * Raise Money *

Manchester Friends of the Earth have signed up with the Recycling for Good Causes scheme to collect unwanted items and recycle them to raise money for Friends of the Earth.

Here are the items they’re able to get recycled:

  • Jewellery and watches – any material, even damaged or broken
  • Currency – any coins or banknotes, even if out of circulation
  • Mobile phones – even damaged or broken
  • Cameras – film, digital and video
  • Stamps –  loose, single, albums, postcard collections, etc.
  • Electronics – sat-navs, MP3 players, game consoles, laptops, tablet computers, even damaged or broken

We can collect small items at stalls or at group meetings and events or email us to arrange to drop off at the Green Fish Resource Centre, 46-50 Oldham Street, Manchester, M4 1LE..  Please email office@manchesterfoe.org.uk if you would to arrange dropping off any items listed above for recycling.

When we have collected between 10-30 kg of stuff it will be collected and about 8 weeks later, Recycling for Good Causes will send a cheque to Friends of the Earth.
