Recycling your unwanted bike
All over Greater Manchester there are people refurbishing our old bikes and passing them on for someone else to enjoy getting about. For some this can be a life line providing free transport to school, work or the shops.

Margaret Carey Foundation
The Margaret Carey Foundation collect second hand bikes, refurbish these and provide them back to the community at discounted prices or for free. They work across the north of England including Greater Manchester, where they recently provided bikes for young refugees. See linked information for how to donate a bike.
Refugee Aid Chorlton
Care UK charity collect items from Chorlton on a regular basis, including bikes. For there opening times please see their facebook page
