Alexandra Park volunteer day – Tree Planting (hosted by Alexandra Park Manchester Wildlife Group)

Please come help us plant around 170 small trees of native species around the edge of Alexandra Park woodland – part of a larger number generously donated to Whalley Range Climate Action Group by The Conservation Volunteers.

ALL welcome – and if we have time & energy after all are planted, there will be other volunteering tasks in the park we can tackle too!

Meet at Alexandra Park depot (end of Russell St M16 7JL) at 10am, where we’ll have a short briefing on the planting, H&S and grab suitable tools etc.

Valuables can be stored at the Depot during the day, we will provide coffee/tea during breaks but we would suggest bringing your own lunch – or alternatively the cafe will be open.
