April Tweed Ride 2018

Meet at the Angel Pub 12 noon for a 12.30 set off.

We will be taking a leisurely circular tour of Manchester City Centre ending up back at the Angel around 4pm. The route is predominately flat and tarmac surfaces although there is a very short cobbled section (about 50 metres but there is a pavement at the side) so the ride will be suitable for all manner of machines. Tandem, Penny Farthings Tricycles etc.

Remember, this is Easter Sunday so your ‘Sunday best’ or Tweeds will be very appropriate. If you wish to wear a bonnet please feel free to do so.

We will be stopping at The Wharf in Castlefield for refreshments which sells food, ale,tea / coffee etc. However, we expect it to be rather busy on Easter Sunday so if you prefer to avoid having to wait then you can bring your own picnic as there is an abundance of outdoor public space where you can sit and enjoy.
