Ashton to Daisy nook, Cycling event social ride. (Ride Social)

A steady social ride to Daisy nook, along one of the many off road cycle routes that are available around Tameside.

We will be riding along a short section of road before joining the Ashton to Oldham greenway and heading to Park bridge and along a well maintained cycle path. Once at Park bridge we will head to Daisy nook along some bridleways which can be muddy in parts then onto the disused Hollinwood canal before dropping into Daisy nook for a rest and a re fuel before heading back.

The will be a very steady ride so we will stop as and when people need on the ride.

Helmets are compulsory. Riding gloves. A fully working bike. ( All bikes will be M checked before the ride ) Spare inner tubes. Food & Drink Warm clothes and spare clothes, waterproofs etc. The ride will be taking place in February so be prepared for any weather conditions. Money for if you fancy a drink at Daisy nook. Children under 16 will need to be supervised by an adult and be able to cycle 10 miles at a steady pace.

We never leave anyone behind
