“Yes it’s me. And it’s supposed to be the Tour de Macc, but I’ve been a bit poorly lately and might just lead you round a selection of Cheshire lanes with a pub somewhere, and maybe a bit of a hill. Say Hare Hill then Artist’s Lane, then out acrorse the plain towards the Church Inn at Mobberly. Then the newly available roads where the A whateveritwas was and back via Dunham? Still 40 miles but less strenuous.
