Birchfields Park Forest Garden work session
Volunteers meet here every month to maintain this Garden. Work sessions start at 1pm and last up to 2 to 3 hours (sometimes more, usually less in December) on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
We keep clear edges, remove weeds competing with more valued plants, mulch, re-stake, prune, sow seeds, add plants, harvest…
Join socially distanced ‘gardening with nature’ as exercise or voluntary work. Tools, sanitiser and gloves can be provided, but bring your own if possible.
We usually have refreshments, bring drinks/snacks if you can & please wear weather! !appropriate! !footwear and clothing!
