Plank lane to Bents. We begin by taking the Leeds to Liverpool canal (leigh branch) all the way to Pennington Flash. Through the park and onto the cycle path of the East Lancs. All traffic free until the last stretch from the Greyhound roundabout to Bents. 

We will have a break here so please bring money for snacks, drinks or a heavenly Bents Cake!

We will then return along the same paths to ensure a safe and virtually traffic free ride.

A lock and spare inner tube are a plus but not essential.

We will be stopping for lunch @ Bents Garden Centre

Helmets are advisable. Please bring a spare inner tube & water for along the route
