Chapletown Loop (Breeze Ride)
This scenic ride takes us through the old Lancashire villages of Chapletown, Entwistle and Belmont on the outskirts of Blackburn. Taking in the views over Turton Tower, St Anne’s Church and the three reservoirs.
We will take a well-earned break at Lesley’s Pop up Café at Horrocks Fold on Belmont road before we head back to the start via Bromley Cross.

Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes at least the night before.
Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will be unable to join in on the ride, unfortunately. Please bring spare inner tubes, tyre levers and pump. A lock for the cafe stop would be advisable.
Due to Covid, It is essential that all ride participants’ carry their own PPE that is mask, hand gel and tissues. The leaders will carry first aid consumables but you will have to apply yourself. The same applies for any punctures or bike maintenance guidance will be offered at a safe distance.
This is a road ride for confident cyclists.

Please bring a bike lock and some cash for our coffee stop.
