“37 miles via Handforth, Hare Hill, The Edge, pub at Mobberly, the Church, then back via Ashley and the Bridgewater Canal to yet more beer at the Beech.
A massive 400 metres of climbing over a long enough distance to make it fairly easy. Practically all road or smooth where it’s not tarred, suitable for tyres skinny or fat, but pref slick. A splendid time is guaranteed for all ( weather permitting )”
Further info: beer is optional, checking that your bike is in good condition (especially the tyres) isn’t. Please bring spare tubes, puncture repair kit and any special tools that your bike needs.
