Our route starts on the National cycle network 55 and heads towards the Leeds to Liverpool canal. We pick up the canal and head down through the locks towards Trencherfield Mill going through Wigan Pier to the DW Stadium. We then leave the canal and ride along the back of the stadium and retail park to Costa Coffee where we will have a short break.

Please bring money if you would like to purchase a drink or snack. When we are all refreshed we will return back up the canal but to avoid some pesky little hills we will return to the start point via Amber’s Wood.

Please bring a drink to keep hydrated. A lock and spare inner tube are also advisable.
