Dark Breeze

Winter is here, but the rides don’t stop. You can’t beat a swift, dark bike ride to keep those winter blues at bay.

The ride leaves Chorlton and heads to Debdale along the Fallowfield Loop. The route is almost completely traffic free and unlit so you will need good quality lights that illuminate the path before you. If you don’t have suitable lights you won’t be able to ride. Reflective clothing is a bonus, but it’s more important that you have clothing to keep you warm and dry.

Make sure your bike is in good working order and that you are carrying everything you need to fix a puncture. It’s well worth investing in ‘puncture proof’ tyres for the winter, as it’s no fun changing a tube in the cold. Bring water as we won’t be stopping for a drink on these rides – sometimes I may bring a treat for us all!

If the weather is very bad I will cancel the ride but will always send a message first. Otherwise, these rides will take place throughout the winter months.

Places are limited so please book online.
