Discover Tameside: Clayton Vale, Daisy Nook and Stamford park (Breeze Ride)

Starting outside Evans Cycles at the NCC, the route will take us through Clayton Vale to Daisy Nook Country Park along the canal towpath of the Hollinwood branch of the Manchester&Ashton-Under-Lyne canal. From here the route takes us through the park and back onto the roads and over to Stamford Park and the cafe.
Toilet facilities are available at the NCC, the Duck cafe in Clayton Vale and at the Daisy Nook.
Cafe stop will be at the Stamford Park. There is a free carpark at the National Cycling Center if you are coming by car.

Requirements: helmet, weather appropriate clothing, working bike and your own spare inner tube/pump/puncture repair kit. Please also bring a lock if you have one and cash for the cafe.
A lovely route through pretty villages, nature reserves and an old railway line through parks in Tameside.

A mix of roads, trail & canal towpath.

Places are limited so please book online
