Great Get Together Longsight (hosted by Let’s Keep Growing)

LET’S KEEP GROWING and New Longsight Housing Co-op invite you to join a Get Together in Longsight this Sunday, part of a nationwide celebration of Jo Cox’ legacy.
SUNDAY 23RD JUNE:
10-1pm: tree planting ceremony and banner making with textile artist/gardener Vineta Gaillite in Palm St-Hector Rd alleyways.

1-2pm: pic-nic on the open green space at the end of Weaverham Cl, between Driscoll St and Duncan Rd

WHO IS IT FOR?
Residents of the streets around the green space, as well as New Longsight Housing Co-op tenants from different streets. Feel free to join us even if you live a bit further away!

WHAT CAN I BRING?
– picnic
– re-usable cutlery
– non-alcoholic drinks
– a blanket to sit on
– an umbrella just in case!
– friends and family
– games
– good vibes

WHAT CAN I LEAVE AT HOME?
– alcohol
– cigarettes
– single-use plastics (we will have re-usable cups)
